The Australian School of Business is offering a large range of undergraduate and postgraduate business courses over the 2009-2010 summer. Summer School will allow you to:

Course descriptions and pre-requisites are detailed in the link listed under each course below. The Summer School timetable is now available.

Summer School courses cover the same content as courses offered during Semester One and/or Two. However, the format is more intensive as the courses are offered during a shorter timeframe. All courses are offered face to face at the University of New South Wales Kensington campus with the exception of Master of Business & Technology (MBT) courses, all of which are offered online with some face to face options.

  ^There is a 4 year minimum relevant professional working experience requirement for enrolment into MBT courses. Interested students are required to email their expression of interest and CV to mbt@unsw.edu.au or include it with their application.  
     
 

*Conditions

  1. Preference for enrolment will be given to UNSW and Australian School of Business students.
  2. Students may study up to a maximum of 12 units of credit (UOC) during the Summer School. MBT students will only be able to enrol in one course in Summer.
  3. Courses not meeting the minimum number of enrolments may be subject to cancellation closer to the date.

Fees

All students taking courses offered by the Australian School of Business during Summer School 2009/10 will be required to pay the full fee for the course.

Local Postgraduate student course fees: $2,580 per 6 units of credit
International Postgraduate student course fees: $3,270 per 6 units of credit

** Please note that since this course (MARK5800 - Customer and Market Analysis) is being offered during Summer from January 2010 and students will be required to pay 2010 fees for this course.

Local Postgraduate student course fees (for MARK5800 only): $2,790
International Postgraduate student course fees (for MARK5800 only): $3,660

Australian Citizens and Humanitarian Visa holders will have the option to defer their tuition for Summer School under FEE-HELP. Eligible students should contact the Student Financials Office well before the relevant session Census date if they wish to defer their fees under FEE-HELP.

Eligibility

UNSW students

All UNSW students, both local and international, are eligible to complete Summer School courses within the Australian School of Business, providing they meet the course pre-requisites.

Non UNSW students

Students from other recognised Australian universities may be eligible to complete Summer School courses within the Australian School of Business. Students will need to apply as cross-institutional students and will need to meet the course pre-requisites. Students must submit the home institution's written confirmation that the course(s) applied for will be credited towards their degree as part of the application.

Students who wish to study non-award may be eligible, providing they meet the course pre-requisites.
